As Placker subscriptions are based on the number of members, this affects the price directly.

Whenever you need to remove members or block them from accessing your boards, follow these steps:

How to remove a member

To remove a member from the subscription, access the subscription page at profile / edit subscription, on the top right of the screen. On the "members" tab, check the active members area and change the member type to "blocked" for every user you wish to remove.

Blocking a member doesn't automatically change the number of members in your account. It will leave an open spot as unassigned members instead. To remove this slot, go to the unassigned members area and remove the empty slots, in case there are some. Then, click "process member updates" to confirm.

If the number of members changes and there will be a decrease in pricing, you will see this in the confirmation message.

Set the preferred adding method

On "settings" tab, you can set the default method of adding members to the subscription: always as active (which might change the number of active users, therefore the price), active when there are unassigned slots (you can leave some open slots for new members) or always pending (you will always need to manually change the type to member).

It can be useful to keep unassigned slots so they can be taken by other members automatically.

Impact of members added or removed in the subscription charged amount

When a user is added, we will start billing for the user in the next billing period. When the user is removed, we will remove the user from the subscription and will not pro-rate the amount.
