Trello mirrors are limited. They work as links to the original card, not independent synced copies. If you want changes to reflect across boards automatically (status, due dates, members, and more), you need Placker mirrors, which keep cards fully synchronized.

When you add a mirror-related power-up to your Trello boards (Card Mirroring, Advanced Mirroring, or Workflow) and import those boards into Placker, the conversion from Trello mirrors to Placker mirrors happens automatically.

However, boards imported through the Placker interface directly, or added through other power-ups, do not get converted automatically by default. For those boards, you can trigger the conversion manually through the board settings.

You can also click Trigger conversion to run the process immediately for existing mirrors on that board.

Once enabled, any new Trello mirrors detected on that board will be converted to Placker mirrors automatically going forward.

In Trello, you can add a card URL to a checklist item to link it to another card. Placker can detect these links and automatically create a parent/child mirror relationship between the two cards. Once linked, updates like status, due dates, and members are synced between them.

For this to work, the linked card must already be on a board that is also imported in Placker.

You can disable this setting at any time if you prefer to manage card links without creating mirrors automatically.
