With Placker, it is possible to plan and control your work using view modes, such as board, gantt, planner and track. When you click "Track" from the menu, this will load default pages, which bring you statistics in real time based on card information.

If you wish to see different KPIs and metrics, you can customize the widgets according to your personal preferences.

Default Track View

When you open Track for the first time, there are some pre-built widgets showing information that is usually available in any Trello board.

This is how it looks in a board that has 6 cards in total, where members, dates and statuses are assigned.

The first page is "Card statistics", which is structured in three columns:

  1. The left columns shows some instruction texts.

  2. The middle column has donut counter, tracker and pivot table widgets. Learn more about each widget type in the Tracking section of the help center.

  3. The right column has a card list widget where you can have an overview of cards and their attributes.

Explore different default pages

Clicking "Page: Card statistics" will show a list of other pages that come with the default.

For example, the Trackers page is focused on the number of cards by attributes (by list, by member, etc.)

There are also attribute pickers at the left columns that work like a filter. For example, when the list picker is set to "To do", only cards in this list will be counted in the widgets.

There are plenty of other pages to see and visualize different ways of analyzing your board data.

Editing widgets

It is also possible to customize widgets in a page, changing the way information is displayed or even adding your own widgets.

To enter the edit mode, click "Edit/details" then "edit layout and widgets". You will notice that each column now has buttons and each widget has the edit widget, where you can change its type, unit of measure, order, etc.

For example, if this is a project where the number of hours worked is tracked and relevant, the list tracker widget could be set to show the number of hours worked in each list, instead of the number of cards.

Ream more about the editing options for each widget type in the Tracking section of the help center.

Adding a new view

If you want to have another empty Track tab with different pages or copy the Track view from another board, you can click "Add view" at the top left corner and select one of these options.

More view options

If you click the arrow at the tab, you can edit the view's name, delete it or star it to make if visible at Placker's overview page.

Share information from the Tracking section

Custom dashboards are a very effective way of analyzing information of a board in a visual way. It can be set to be shown in a TV or monitor in the office so all of the team will be able to see the status in real-time.

Sharing the URL of a track view with a team member is also a way of sharing information in real-time.

Other options are to take a screenshot of the dashboard and including it in an email, presentation, etc.

You can also print the page in your browser (usually the keyboard shortcut for this is Ctrl + P).
