By default, the Gantt chart shows bars in a blue color. You can click Visibility and Color by to select how you would like to color them (according to their labels, members, statuses, etc.).

Another option is to set colors for each card or list individually. To do this, click a card or list. Then, at the right panel, enable the List or Card color and set one to that card or list.

In this case, you can see by each color that the card is open, paused, completed, etc. The legend below shows the colors for each of these statuses:
