The Placker platform’s template views greatly assist users in planning and managing their personal projects. With a range of customizable options, users can tailor their approach to fit their unique needs and goals.

In this article, you will see some of the methods suggested to improve the workload efficiency and result in achieving better results.

How to create a view from a template

When adding a new view, you can either start from scratch or select an existing template, which is what this article is all about. For details on how to do this, check this article.

Getting things done report

This is an overview of personal activities, all of which are structured and organized according to the principles of the Getting Things Done (GTD) method. This method, developed by David Allen, is a time management approach that emphasizes stress-free productivity and the importance of moving tasks out of the mind by recording them externally and then breaking them down into actionable work items. By utilizing this method, personal activities can be managed more effectively and efficiently, leading to improved productivity and reduced stress.

The report contains tasks organized by list, a card table showing the dates and the number of cards by week, to help apply the principles of the method.

Multiple project board

This is a template design where there are many boards loaded. It's a layout that is specifically constructed to handle many projects at the same time, since it uses attributes that are common to multiple boards such as Status and Traffic Light.

Prioritized activities

It's essential to maintain a precise and clear perspective of the tasks that need to be tackled in the near future. This should be done in accordance with their degree of importance and urgency. This view allows for better organization and planning, ensuring that crucial tasks are not neglected and that everything is addressed in a timely manner.
