How can I archive cards, or retrieve them from the archive?

This article will show you how to archive and restore boards, lists and cards using the Placker interface.

This can be done to hide them from sight and retrieve them (or delete them) at a later point in time.ย 

When cards or lists are deleted in Placker, they will be archived in Trello so you can retrieve them at a later point in time. Placker-only boards can only be deleted.

Archive cards

Cards can be archived from Trello or from Placker. When cards are deleted in Placker, they are archived in Trello. You can retrieve cards from the archive from Trello.

How to archive cards (from Placker)

You can archive a card clicking it and at the bottom right corner, click Actions and Archive.

How to restore cards (from Placker)

To retrieve a card from the archive, click Actions / Restore from archive / Cards and select the card in the restore icon.

You can either click the restore icon or the card title to preview it, then use the restore button in the card overview.

In case the list where this card was when it was archived is no longer available, there will be an option to select in which new list the card should be restored.

In case your board is linked with Trello, it's also possible to retrieve and archive cards there.

Archive lists

List an be archived from Trello or from Placker. Lists are also archived in Trello when they are deleted in Placker. You can retrieve lists from the archive from Trello.

How to archive lists (from Placker)

You can archive a list clicking the three dots next to it, then selecting archive list or archive cards in list.

When you delete a list in Placker, it will be archived in Trello.

How to retrieve lists (from Placker)

To retrieve a list, click Actions / Restore from archive / Lists and select the list in the restore icon.

In case your board is linked with Trello, it's also possible to retrieve and archive lists there.

Archive boards in Trello

When boards are closed in Trello, they are archived in Placker. You can restore a closed board from Trello.
